Security & Passkeys
The Security tab at iam.wink.travel/my-account/security is where you manage passkeys — WebAuthn credentials that let you sign in without a password.
What is a passkey?
Section titled “What is a passkey?”A passkey is a cryptographic credential bound to your device (or password manager) that proves you are you. Passkeys are phishing-resistant and faster than typing a password.
Registering a passkey
Section titled “Registering a passkey”- Sign in to iam.wink.travel with your existing credentials.
- Go to My Account → Security.
- Click
Add passkey. - Your browser will prompt you to authenticate with your device (Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, a hardware key, or a synced password manager).
- Give the passkey a friendly name (e.g. Work MacBook) so you can recognize it later.
Using a passkey to sign in
Section titled “Using a passkey to sign in”On the iam.wink.travel sign-in screen, enter your email — if you have a passkey registered for that email, you’ll be prompted to authenticate with it instead of typing a password.
Removing a passkey
Section titled “Removing a passkey”In the same Security tab, each registered passkey has a Remove button. Use it if you lose a device, retire a hardware key, or want to clean up unused credentials.
