Destination lists

A destination list ranks the properties in a destination by a characteristic you choose, such as eco-friendliness, so travelers see the strongest matches first. Think “Eco-friendly hotels in Tokyo”.

Unlike a curated list, which you fill by hand, a destination list is filled for you: you choose where and how to rank, and Wink sorts the inventory by that characteristic.

Open Marketing > Lists from the main nav bar and then the Destinations tab to see your destination lists.

Create a destination list

Click the Create destination button on the Destinations tab. The form lets you customize your list in the following ways:

Choose a destination. E.g. Tokyo.
Give it a name for you to remember what the list is about. E.g. Eco-friendly hotels in Tokyo.
Select the Customization you want to apply to this list.
Select the initial card face you want users to see first. By default, it is the native face of that inventory.
Choose what characteristic to sort properties by. E.g. Eco-friendliness.
Add keywords, separated by a comma, that will be used by Web Crawlers.
Add titles and descriptions in the languages you want the user to see.
Click the Save button to continue.

After saving, you are redirected to your destinations and your list is ready to be shared with the world.

Every list has actions you can execute on it:

Update Updates your list configuration.
Add to Link manager Adds the list to your Link manager account.
Embed Shows you how to embed this list into your website as a Web Component.
Use with WordPress Shows you how to use our WordPress plugin to embed this list into your website.
