Getting Started as a Travel Creator
This guide takes you from sign-up to your first bookable hotel link. It takes about 15 minutes. By the end you’ll have a live storefront, your first link to share, and you’ll know how and when you get paid.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You’ll need:
- An e-mail address to register with.
- The link to your main social profile, channel or blog.
- Bank details. These can wait until you’ve earned your first commission.
How you earn
Section titled “How you earn”- 10% default commission on every booking you send to a hotel on the Wink Network.
- Six months of credit per click. If someone clicks your link today and books three months later, the booking is still yours.
- No follower minimum and no application. Every hotel active on the Wink Network is available to you from day one.
- No guest service to handle. Payment is collected for the hotel, which stays merchant of record and looks after the guest. You earn the commission.

Which format to use where
Section titled “Which format to use where”| Where you post | Use | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Stories, Reels, TikTok, comments, DMs | Shareable link | One short link for one hotel, with a price preview. |
| Link in bio | WinkLinks | One address for everything you recommend. |
| A themed trip (“5 boutique stays in Lisbon”) | Curated list shown as a grid or map | Lets people compare and book from one place. |
| Your blog or website | Card, grid or map | Bookable hotels right inside your article. |
Step 6: Share it
Section titled “Step 6: Share it”Put your link where your audience already looks: your bio, story link stickers, YouTube descriptions, pinned comments, newsletters and blog posts. Six months of credit means a link in an evergreen video or article keeps earning long after you post it.
Step 7: Track what’s working
Section titled “Step 7: Track what’s working”Click your profile icon in the top-right corner, then Analytics, to see clicks and bookings. Drop what doesn’t convert and post more of what does. See Analytics.
Step 8: Get paid
Section titled “Step 8: Get paid”-
Add your bank account: go to
Account > Bank Accounts, add your account and mark it Primary. Automatic payouts go to your primary account. See Bank Accounts. -
Commission becomes available within 24 hours of the guest checking in. A booking made in March for a stay in June pays out in June.
-
Payouts go by bank transfer. Wink sends payouts through Revolut, so if you have a Revolut account, use it: it’s the smoothest option. Any other bank account works too.
-
Transfer fees are paid at cost and depend on your country and currency. A quote calculator shows the cost before you withdraw. See Pricing and Withdraw Funds.
Level up
Section titled “Level up”- Work directly with a hotel. Once you have 5 bookings on Wink, you can ask a hotel for a direct connection, for example a special deal for your audience or a group rate. With a direct connection, you and the hotel can agree a commission other than the 10% default. See Network.
- Post more with less effort. Social creates and schedules hotel posts for you. Manual posts are always free; AI-made content is pay-as-you-go. See Pricing.
