What a booking costs
What the hotel pays — with or without a partner.
Section titled “What the hotel pays — with or without a partner.”The hotel controls its own rate. Wink passes it through unchanged — no net-rate resale, no markup layer.
Every booking carries Wink’s 1.5% platform fee plus card processing at cost. If someone else drove the booking, they earn a commission on top — and it’s still well below the OTAs.
1.5% platform fee + card processing at cost, paid by the hotel
The guest books through the hotel’s own website, links, QR codes or WinkLinks. Nobody else drove it, so there’s no commission — the hotel keeps the rest, plus the guest and the data.

A partner, creator, developer or AI agent drove the booking. They earn a 10% default commission, calculated after Wink’s 1.5% platform fee and the booking’s card processing fee — still below the 15–25% OTAs charge, and the hotel keeps the guest.
On a $100 booking

The 10% ($9.45) goes to whoever drove the booking. Attribution is preserved for 6 months per click.
*Card processing is passed through at actual cost and varies with the guest’s card and payment method. 4.0% is shown for illustration; the exact fee appears in each booking’s Accounting section.
Who pays, who earns
One line for every side of the platform.
Section titled “One line for every side of the platform.”Hotels pay on bookings. Everyone who creates demand earns on them. Joining is free for all of them.

10% is the default; hotels can agree bespoke rates (up to 25% in some direct deals). Commission is calculated after Wink’s 1.5% platform fee and the booking’s card processing fee, and paid only on confirmed stays.
Payment & merchant of record
Two ways payment can work.
Section titled “Two ways payment can work.”By default Wink collects payment for the hotel, acting as its agent. Licensed operators can run payment themselves and pay only the platform fee.

- Payment collected as the hotel’s agent — checkout, cards, 3DS, multi-currency
- The hotel is merchant of record; its name appears on the guest’s card statement
- 1.5% Wink platform fee + card processing at cost — no separate processor contract
- Funds held separately and released to the hotel at guest check-in
You are the merchant of record

- You take payment and pay the hotel yourself
- Wink charges a 1.5% Booking Fee — no card processing fee
- Requires a valid travel-agency licence in your region
- Books through the Partner API, with Wink's prior written approval
- Invoiced monthly, plus any Partner API usage above the free allowance; you're responsible for funds, licences and disbursement
Payout/disbursement fees vary by country and disbursement method, and are quoted in-account when funds are ready.

Beyond bookings
The platform is free. Two extras are usage-based.
