What is Wink Extranet?

Wink Extranet is the hotel-side control layer of the Wink platform. Hotels manage the property profile, photos, rooms, rates, availability, inventory, promotions, sales channels, partner access, Traveliko activation, channel-manager connectivity and Booking Engine configuration. Once supply is approved in Extranet, Wink turns it into direct checkout, partner storefronts, Social links, WinkLinks, Traveliko listings, Agentic AI responses and developer-powered booking paths.

Why it matters

One hotel source of truth for every route.

The same room can appear on your website, a partner storefront, Traveliko, a Social link, a WinkLinks card, or an AI answer. Extranet keeps supply, offer logic and booking rules connected before demand reaches checkout.

One-click registration

Point it at your website URL and it drafts descriptions, suggests amenities and extracts property details to review.

Resilient multi-provider AI

Across 9 inventory types

Property, rooms, restaurants, spas, activities, attractions, meeting rooms, places and add-ons.

Connectivity

How rates and availability reach Wink.

Wink needs live ARI — availability, rate and inventory — before a guest can book. Provide it your way.

Connect a provider

Link a supported channel manager, PMS, CRS or rate provider so ARI flows into Wink automatically.

11 channel managers including SiteMinder, Cloudbeds, RateGain and D-EDGE; many PMS via Channex; SynXis CRS.

Load manually

No connection? Maintain rates, availability and restrictions in the Master Rate Calendar, and test with the Verifier before going live.

Bookings sync back

When a booking is created, updated or cancelled, it syncs to the connected PMS or channel manager with full lifecycle tracking.

See the full provider list and setup steps in the Connectivity guide.

Two connected layers

Extranet FAQs

Supply, AI content, connectivity, channels and how it powers booking.

What is Wink Extranet?
Wink Extranet is the hotel-side control layer of the Wink platform. Hotels manage the property profile, photos, rooms, rates, availability, inventory, promotions, sales channels, partner access, Traveliko activation, channel-manager connectivity and Booking Engine configuration. Once supply is approved in Extranet, Wink turns it into every booking route.
Is Extranet the same as Booking Engine?
No. Extranet is where the hotel manages supply and rules. Booking Engine is the transaction layer that uses that supply to complete bookings across direct, partner, Traveliko, Agentic AI and developer routes.
How does Wink get real-time rates and availability?
Hotels can connect a supported channel manager, PMS, CRS or rate provider so availability, rate and inventory (ARI) updates flow into Wink automatically — or load and maintain rates and availability manually in the Extranet Master Rate Calendar.
Which channel managers connect to Wink?
Wink integrates with 11 channel managers including SiteMinder, Cloudbeds, Travelclick, RateGain, D-EDGE, YieldPlanet and Hotel Link, plus many PMS systems through Channex as a proxy and SynXis as a CRS. The Connectivity guide lists supported connections.
How does Extranet's AI content work?
Extranet uses a resilient multi-provider AI engine that automatically selects the best available provider with fallback. It generates content across 9 inventory types and 12 tones of voice, and one-click registration can scrape a property's website URL to draft descriptions, suggest amenities and extract details — reviewed and published by the hotel.
Can hotels manage rates and promotions in Extranet?
Yes. Hotels can manage rate plans, cancellation rules, meal inclusions, extra charges, restrictions, promotions, channel offers and member-style discounts where configured.
Can Extranet control partner and channel access?
Yes. Hotels manage sales channels, partner relationships, commissions, discounts, promotion access, partner-network participation, Traveliko activation and blacklists from Extranet settings.
Does Extranet support Agentic AI and APIs?
Yes. Extranet provides the hotel-approved supply that Agentic AI and approved developer integrations build on. Developers should use the Developers page and Build on Wink documentation.
