Rate Tester
The rate tester lets you verify that your room rates are correctly configured before they go live to travelers.
To access the rate tester, click on Monetize > Rate Tester from the main nav bar.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”Enter a search scenario and the rate tester will show you exactly how rates are calculated:
- Sales channel — Select the channel to test (e.g., your booking engine, an affiliate, or a specific integration).
- Check-in / Check-out dates — The travel dates to test.
- Room configuration — Number of adults and children.
Click Search to see the results.
Results
Section titled “Results”The results page shows the calculated rates for each room type and rate plan that matches your search criteria. Use this to verify that:
- Pricing modifiers (single occupancy, extra adults/children) are applied correctly.
- Cancellation policies display as expected.
- Restrictions are filtering correctly.
- Promotions and discounts are taking effect.
